I ordered an Uber for Kim to take him to Centraal station around 0745. He reported that it was chaos at immigration at Brussels airport, taking 90 mins to go through immigration. There had been only 3 officers processing a large hall of passengers.
About 1000, I made my way to Centraal myself on foot, taking only 10 mins. What a difference from the walk yesterday when we had trouble finding the station.
Today, I’m bound for the countryside. I took a train to Landen, which took 50 mins for a 2 night stay in the nearby area between Hannut and Braives. While Landen is in the Flemish-speaking area, the area where I’m staying is French.
On the train, I realised that Budget had finally charged for the damage that they claim we did to the car tyre.
After a walk in the afternoon, I sat down to plan how I would respond to the charge by budget. They had not responded to our email with the photos clearly showing that the damage was pre-existing.
