Today, we fly to my hometown, Kuching, for a 6 day stay. We left the hotel at 0840 for the 0900 KLIA Ekspres train to the airport for our 1225 flight.
That gave us over an hour in the landside lounge before going airside for our AirAsia flight to Kuching. The aircraft had left its previous destination 30 mins and arrived early into Kuala Lumpur, and we managed to depart 20 mins early.
The lesson is, never be late for an AirAsia flight! They may close up and leave if you’re not on board by the boarding cut-off time.
Landing in Kuching, we were picked up my good friend Boo. We stopped at an ais kacang shop for a treat to thank him, en route to our apartment.
The rest of the day was spent cleaning, getting some groceries, making a salad, followed by more cleaning.
