Aquaria KLCC
We started today with breakfast at Nasi Lemak at Kampung Baru, the old village area of Kuala Lumpur that has resisted development. Locals have not sold up to developers.
Following that, we took the train to KLCC shopping centre where I visited Aquaria KLCC (the aquarium) using a free ticket from redeeming some expiring airline points. Kim walked around the mall while waiting for me as the ticket was quite pricey otherwise.
I was awed by the South American (mainly Amazon) gigantic river fish called Arapaima gigas. I had never seen such large freshwater fish before and these can grow up to 4.5m and 200kg. Google suggests that it has a lean firm flaky flesh of satisfying density that resembles cod or halibut and is free from any unpleasant tastes.
The remainder of the place was more mainstream with sharks, rays, turtles and reef fish.
Following that, we walked around the park outside KLCC to Avenue K mall, which was less high end with more stuff that we would actually interest us.

Rest of the day
After a rest in the room, we had an excellent blind massage each at Massage Station, a place I go to occasionally. My masseur was strong and went overtime without charging extra. Naturally, I tipped him a little extra.
