It’s not easy to find other people to dive with, in Biak. I was lucky to be able to join a party of dive journalists and dive the fabulous Wundi Cave. You can read about my day here where you’ll also find tips on trying to make a dive-trip happen.
Packing that night, I thought I had spent perhaps a half-day too much in this small town. But it was kind necessary for several reasons:
- Catch up on the sleep from the night flight.
- Keeping activities to half-days in order to escape the heat and humidity.
- Allowing more time so as to maximise the chance of teaming up with other people’s dive trips.
