Upon landing from Seoul at 0430 (rather than the scheduled 0510) in Kuala Lumpur, I walked across to the Tune Hotel at the airport grounds and caught a few hours sleep. Because the hotel was so cheap, I was able to book last night and use it as an early check-in rather than wait till the official check-in time of 1400 which is strictly enforced.
It was a toss-up between going into the city (for the glorious food and blind massage) or catch-up on errands on the internet.
I had some accommodation to book for Yogyakarta and Solo … the guesthouses I had written to didn’t respond so I kinda left it. Panic set in when every place I rang was full. I finally found something, after which I was too “over it” to attend to my errands like bills and bank statements.
