I fly to Seoul tomorrow on AirAsia X. As they do not sell connections from Kuching, I could do a self-connect by flying from Kuching to Kuala Lumpur to connect to the afternoon service to Seoul. To ensure a safe self-connection, I’d have to leave Kuching rather early tomorrow.
But fares from Kuching to KL were cheap today. So I booked myself on the late evening flight at 2050, landing in KL at 2235. This planned worked well because I was able to overnight at a reasonable price at the Tune Hotel adjacent to the airport terminal.
