Today I make my way back to Auckland alone, while Kim makes his homecoming three days afterwards with his parents. The reason for this is that he’s spending a couple of days at a car event at Goodwood in southern England.
We left Toulouse together on British Airways at 1035 for London Gatwick where we said goodbye. Upon landing at 1120, he picked up his rental car for his drive-trip, which he’ll do with Eric. I hopped on the bus to London Heathrow for my 1615 flight to Auckland, via Los Angeles.
