Flying to cowboy country

29 April 2016

It felt like a normal work day waking at 0630 and walking to the bus for work. I worked till 1 am doing handovers before being taken to the airport by a friend Paul with Kim and my luggage.

The flight had about 20+ seats available which meant that we got our boarding passes immediately and were able to head to the lounge for a shower and a light bite.

We got our paid upgrade to Premium Economy, a section with 8 seats across rather than the 10 nowadays on the Boeing 777-200. That and the legroom made for a vastly improved flight. We were also lucky enough to get some horizontal time too, before arriving 40 minutes earlier.
