I woke at 0645 and left the hotel at 0730 on the E21 bus which got me to check-in around 0845, some 2 hours before departure. I found that departure had been brought forward and we had been assigned a gate in the satellite terminal. With check-in at Terminal 2, this was like the least convenient combination. It left just a little time for me in the Plaza Premium Lounge before an uneventful flight to KL on AirAsia.
The arrival hall at KLIA LCCT was badly overcrowded even for local passport holders. I got through that and checked-in my bag to Kuching and tried to relax in the local lounge here. I became hot and very sweaty. I need to see the doctor tomorrow.
We boarded the flight to Kuching on time but with air traffic issues, we eventually left 30 minutes late and got to Kuching late as well. Benny picked me up. I decided that I won’t go see Mum for a couple of days; I could be contagious and can’t risk the oldies catching such a bad flu, if that’s what this is.
