Rapid test and walks

14 November 2021

Above:  Unfortunately, I hadn’t seen any of the local wildlife such as foxes or wild boars.

It was relaxing day again, giving Lou a massage and checking the travel requirements for my next country Istanbul.  Fortunately, Turkey’s relatively easy entry conditions hadn’t changed and I did my arrival declaration to obtained “HES” health code.

I also did a rapid Covid-19 test using a kit left by their previous guests.  Thankfully, I turned out negative.  After the crowded metros and ferries in Italy there was a chance I could have been infected but asymptomatic.  I would rather know here and isolate with friends rather than be found out in Istanbul (when I need to test for Malaysia) and be held up there.

My negative rapid test result.

My walk with Riccardo was slightly more scenic today with a river, cows and a path full of orange autumn leaves.  Unfortunately, I hadn’t seen any of the local wildlife such as foxes, wild boars or pheasants.  We did see two flying pheasants from the car one day though.

One of the daily walks with Riccardo.
