I set the alarm for 0640 so I could prepare for my dive day in a relaxed manner, without having to fight for the shared bathrooms.
Apart from throwing up after both dives, it was a great dive day. SS Yongala is rated amongst the best wreck dives around and I wasn’t disappointed. You can read about my dives here.
After the dive, we had a BBQ back at the dive lodged but I had to eat and run, since I had to return the rental car by about 16:05. I left at 14:35 and with 1h20 travel time and 5 mins to fill up, I got the car back to Avis at 16:00 with five minutes to spare before I get charged for an extra day!
