He hasn’t got any body piercings … no skewers through the cheeks, no limes attached to his back with fish hooks (I think, since we don’t have a photo of his back).
I took the 1845 AirAsia flight, which lasts 45 mins, from Medan back to Penang, arriving at 2030 due to a one hour time difference. The flight is so short that, as my Medan guesthouse landlady said, that I can wash my hair in Medan and land in Penang before my hair dries.
It felt like coming home, being in Penang … people speak Hokkien, the food is good and the eateries don’t look as dodgy! As I had missed out on dinner, I tucked in supper before retiring to bed at the Tune Hotel.
