Singapore nighstsop

20 November 2006

Today I travel back to Singapore via Johor Bahru, in preparation for travel home to New Zealand tomorrow morning.  This time I was flying in relative luxury on Malaysia Airlines rather than the budget carrier, departing Kuching at 1755.

Malaysia Airlines normally has buses that connect Johor’s Senai Airport to Singapore but there was no suitable connecting bus for my flight.  I took a taxi from the airport to Kotaraya II bus station, since there were no direct taxis to Singapore.  From there, it was a separate taxi to Singapore’s Rochor station.  That cost me MYR40 + MYR10, which wasn’t very much compared to the airfare savings.

From Rochor, I took a normal taxi to step-dad’s house for my nightstop.  Step-bro Stanley rang and got me some kway teow for dinner and we had a nice chat.
