We landed in Auckland into quite a nice day about 10 minutes late. While I had travelled around for six weeks in Central Asia and India with just cabin bag (7kg including laptop), I had loaded up with food, a wok and lid for this last leg. Being able to show the quarantine officer a photo of all the items meant I was allowed straight through with just an X-Ray.
Thus ended a big adventure of the “stans” … Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan (briefly) and finally Hindustan.
