For the second leg from Gold Coast to Kuala Lumpur, I ate my meal and took a pill and slept till about an hour before landing. It was over 3h of waiting before the first flight of the day to Kuching so I had some breakfast of Assam Laksa, knowing full well I’d have a meal on the next flight too!
There were no customs staff on duty for my arrival so it was a very quick exit for me. I was pleasantly surprised by my sis and her husband (both living in Guernsey, Channel Islands) who had come to pick me up. I hadn’t expected to see them as I thought they would have left town by the time of my arrival. They offered to pick me up while my brother was a church.
