Today seemed like a day too many in Mokokchung. But it was a necessary rest day with the long previous days. It only seems excessive because I had arrived one day early due to things going well in Mon/Longwa.
I took it at a really slow restful pace and killed time with a walk into town. I changed to a nicer room, as the hotel said my cheap room was no longer available … but in fact, I think they prefer to have me in a better room which cost INR1000 (or 60%) more.
Mid-afternoon, the internet livened up. Time went quickly catching up on about five days backlog of online tasks.
