Food in China isn't what you normally get in the West. In the northern parts of China, rice is rare. Lots of wheat based products like breads and dumplings. Sadly food often glistens with oil. Even when I wanted a light noodle soup, there was a layer of oil on the top. Tasty, but after a while it gets too much.  [View photos]
